HALL HIRE

Are you a small group of people that need
somewhere to hold weekly meetings? Maybe
you are an instructor of dance, martial arts,
debating team, ballroom dancing group, choir
ensemble, etc.
Daytime and night time hourly slots are
available.
Our Scout Den is located just off Bracken Ridge
Road, Bald Hills. It has street access with off-
street parking, and has large windows and
roller doors allowing for natural light and air-
flow.
It has a small kitchenette and male and female
toilets, and is available to rent by the Bald Hills
and wider Brisbane community at a reasonable
cost.

WHO DO I CONTACT TO
HIRE THE HALL?
Please email our Hall Hire Coordinator to
request a booking. Please include the
following information in your email:
The dates and times you are after.
Any other particular requirements (e.g.
kitchen facilities, trestle tables, chairs
etc).
An alternative means of contacting you
(preferably mobile phone details), in
case there is a problem with email.
For longer term renters, a completed
Hall Hire Rental Agreement (although
this can also be handed to our Hall Hire
Coordinator in person)
WHO CAN HIRE THE SCOUT
HALL?
Our Scout Hall has been hired for
a variety of purposes, including:
•
Martial arts.
•
Painting.
•
Business presentations and
demonstrations.
•
Private celebrations.
•
Childrens’ birthday parties
(particularly parents
organising birthday parties in
adjacent Harold Kielly Park
who want an alternative
location in case of bad
weather).
We will not hire out our hall for
loud parties or to bands. Also,
please be aware that alcohol is
not permitted to be consumed on
Scout premises.
Typically we require Hall users to
be over 21 years of age.
Each hirer is required to hold
public liability insurance and
WorkCover protection to cover
the hire of the Property.
As we are in a suburban area,
noise levels need to be kept to a
minimum (particularly after
dark). The use of amplified
sound equipment is not
permitted at night.
Hall hire is at the discretion of
the Bald Hills Scout Group
Committee.
